I call this Primitivo THIN SKIN You see the wood grain and lacquer shrunken in beautifully vintage looking relic ULTRA PREMIUM LIGHTWEIGHT BODY under 3 lbs! Notice example pictures done with aged green pickguards and also aged white … either way with a body like this Put on a good looking aged pickguard to finish the job started with this body ask Joe about an aged pickguard To add one on with this body order message Joe. No parts come with this body they are shown for example. only wood the strat body is offered check our other listings for the most realistic aged pickguards. This listings body is for pickup routing HSH and is our most versitile as you can run all 3 single coil pickups if you like as pickups are supported and suspended by the pickguard you can also run a Humbucking pickup in either Neck or Bridge making it very versitile all the while looking like a vintage body. These are custom built first by CNC then further hand shaped to vintage spec body is 2-3mm thinner than the originals and is virtually un noticible with these deep sexy vintage contour body. This is a premium resonant body made of. 3-piece Palowania the grain pattern is great looks much like Ash and is a light weight resonant wood with very good tap tone ring This will make a killer STRAT. This color is a Sunburst lacquer in that all Nitro lacquer finish we have also used the famous old school under coat sealer tinted yellow same as Leo’s boys did back in the day ( 50s-60’s ) these bodys are then thin skin top coated with nitro instrument lacquer and finish allows for woods natural grain to show threw thin skin shrunkin in for ultimate tone and is custom formulated by JVGuitars. Iv learned from painting cars for decades now since 1970 at 14 and I have painted dozens of custom high end cars trucks and bikes -helmets – guitars – vintage furnature you name it for well over 40 years Iv been a Luthier since 1992. This is built to fit Fender US spec necks sizes on bodies and neck can slightly vary in size by up to a few MM between the body and fitting a neck often it is required of the guitar builder to “fit” the neck to a body and that is done by the assembler at time of building this is nothing new this is why “Mr Leo F ” would sand neck or pocket use shims and so on to fine tune adjust and or fit , this prep work is to be expected and should your neck or body require you the builder to make the final fit this is ordinary and not a defect and is not returnable for such reasons. This is a no nonsense listing, WHAT YOU SEE IS SIMILAR TO WHAT YOU GET … the body seen IS THE BODY has been sold we will make you another one very similar BUT NON RELIC yet unique no 2 are exactly the same.
